Usage

// Load your dependencies
JSLoader.load("ria","prototype","1.5.1");
JSLoader.load("ria","scriptaculous","1.7.1-beta3");
JSLoader.load("ria","lightbox","2.03");

Then use normally per instructions at Lightbox2's website. Essentially create thumbnails linked to larger images, and in the A link add "rel='lightbox[groupname]'" or omit the [groupname] part for single image lightboxing.

Actual Demo

This example uses the Lightbox2 library (slightly modified, though I sent the owner the changes)), Prototype, and Scriptaculous to enhance a gallery of photos (of my kids) with Lightbox-style features.
